Genesis Shake® PRO
Genesis Shake PRO is a simple one-piece roof edge ice melt system engineered to install on all new construction or re-roof projects by securing over style “D” roof edge. Specially designed three sided angulated raceways securely hold commercial grade self-regulating heat trace cable in place for a direct heat transfer for maximum performance. The benefit of a direct heat transfer is less heat trace cable is needed to prevent ice dam and icicles formations on roof edges. Less heat trace cable means lower energy costs. In addition, comparative thermal analysis completed by an independent third party helped to determine the optimal distance between heat cables to achieve maximum melting capacity. Easily installs around gutters and downspouts.
Genesis Shake® PRO2X
Genesis Shake PRO2X is a simple one-piece roof edge ice melt system engineered to install on all new construction or re-roof projects by securing over style “D” roof edge. Specially designed three sided angulated raceways securely hold commercial grade self-regulating heat trace cables in place for a direct heat transfer for maximum performance and achieve a minimum 20 inch melt back (see independent third party report on Thermal Analysis).
Genesis Flashing® PRO
Genesis Flashing PRO is a special re-design of an existing flashing design used in the construction/building/roofing industry. Since roof to wall or wall to roof are problematic areas on a roof structure in medium and high snow load regions. We designed a raceways to securely hold heat trace cable in place to provide adequate heat transfer throughout a roof to wall or wall to roof area to prevent ice dams and glacier type ice build-up which damages walls from developing. Special design features for this product which do not currently exists in the marketplace are, (1) a special bend in an existing material/product used in the building/construction/roofing industry to create a raceway to securely hold a heat trace cable in place to effectively maintain a melt path for snow meltwater, (2) the heat trace cable is partially visible for maintenance, inspections, and replacement to conform to the NEC (National Electrical Code) Article 426, (3) it takes an existing, recognized, and widely used product and substantially improves it.
