ThermaMetal Standing Seam Roof Deicing Panels

ThermaMetal uses patented technology to stop ice damming on new standing seam metal roofs. A specifically designed, three sided raceway secures UL-listed self regulating heat trace cable in place for highly efficient, direct heat transfer.

Panels are installed directly onto the ice and water shield and do not require any modifications to the new roof structure. ThermaMetal has a receiver compatible with new seams, which are then clicked on for a clean, water-tight installation.

1X Panel

• Single heat cable run

• Approximately 10 inch melt path

• Mild to Moderate snowfall

• Residential properties in the East Coast and Great Lakes

2X Panel

• Double heat cable runs

• Approximately 20 inch melt path

• Moderate to severe snowfall

• Rocky Mountains and other high-elevation regions

3X Panel

• Triple heat cable runs

• Approximately 30 inch melt path

• Severe snowfall

• Extended eave design
